Who builds your AI agents
Cobaltica began in Foligno where two complementary trades met: the one that builds software and the one that keeps it running. Twenty years on, it is still the same two people who follow every project from the first meeting through to operation.
Agnese Beatrici
She founded Cobaltica and has led the studio's application development ever since. She is the person who turns a business process into software that holds up under load, over years, and through changing requirements.
On agent projects her work begins where the demo ends: connecting the model to the business systems, archives and permissions the company already has, deciding what the agent may do alone and what has to reach a human, and making every decision reconstructable months later.
She has worked on portals and applications for Nestlé, Fiat, MSC and the University of Perugia, in settings where the software could not afford to stop.

Leonardo Angelini
Developer and system administrator, founding partner, he looks after project analysis and development. He built and runs the studio's infrastructure: it is the reason Cobaltica can develop, test and run models and applications on machines of its own.
He handles research and development: evaluating new models, measuring cost and latency, working out what is worth keeping in-house and what is not. When a client asks that data never leave the company perimeter, he is the one who answers.
Kubernetes clusters, networks, application firewalls, monitoring and remote backups: the part of the work nobody sees until it is missing.
- What people come to him for
- Running AI without sending the data outside
- Tools
- Kubernetes · Linux · VMware · Self-hosted models
The year the two partners opened the studio in Foligno. The structure has stayed small by choice ever since.
Our own infrastructure in service of development: it runs our development, debugging and monitoring environments.
Beyond the two partners there is a network of collaborators and firms we have worked with for years: the team is assembled around the project, then goes light again.
Tell us about your project
Describe the process you would like to automate. In half an hour we will tell you whether an agent makes sense — and if it does not, we will tell you that too.
